HARVEST: Grapes are manually selected between the 20th and the 30th of October, in a 35-year-old vineyard in Controguerra with optimal exposure and low yield. The terroir gives the grapes the best thermal excursions that, together with organic techniques of cultivation and aging, enhances the aromatic sensations typical of Montepulciano grapes.
WINE MAKING: The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, where it is thermo-conditioned. After the malolactic fermentation, it ages in wood barrels (50 hl) for 8-10 months, and then in bottle for 6 months.
