Herencia Altés La Peluda is a wine made with Garnacha Peluda, a variety with a similar ripening as Red Grenache but harvested separately for this wine. The vintage is manual, in 18-kg boxes, with grape selection in the vineyard. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel deposits at 23-26 °C with daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation and ageing takes place in new 500-litre French and Hungarian oak barrels, where it remains for 10 months.
Herencia Altés La Peluda is a meaty, opulent and refined wine. Elegant and fresh, this Garnacha Peluda is considered by Núria as her Pinot Noir.
